A visionary, Raphaëlle Le Baud has been dedicated to promoting traditional crafts for over fifteen years. Through her company, Métiers Rares, she champions the rarity and expertise of these crafts by forging unique collaborations with luxury houses such as Chaumet, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dom Pérignon, Hennessy, and Van Cleef & Arpels. From tradition to innovation, from the intelligence of the hand to artificial intelligence, Raphaëlle Le Baud explores and envisions the future of craftsmanship. Her expertise is now recognised worldwide. As an ambassador for the Michelangelo Foundation for the Arts, she speaks at conferences at the Abu Dhabi Culture Summit, the 19M Gallery, and TEDx in Paris, as well as at the Homo Faber Biennale in Venice. Raphaëlle Le Baud is also an exhibition curator. Her most recent exhibition, La Pudeur—held in January 2026—showcased the unique creations of 13 artisanal workshops in Kyoto. Accustomed to creating everyday objects such as tatami mats, these artisans designed exceptional works expressing their interpretation of modesty.
